OPM Reject Expansion of New Autonomous Region, in Papua
Jayapura Onews,--West Papua NationalLiberation Army-the Free Papua Movement(OPMTPNPB), under theHighCommandCommanderGen.GoliathTabuni,firmlyrejectedallproposals for establishingnew autonomous regions (DOB)inPapua.
OPMalso gavea warningto the actorswhodesigned thenew autonomous region.
It is said toGoliathTabuniin a pressrelease received byjournalistsVoiceReforminPapua,on Thursday (28/3) morning.
According to him,the establishment ofnew autonomous regionsis nota top priority forthe welfare ofindigenous Papuans.Factsproveall theautonomous regionshas neversided withthe local indigenous community.
"From thedivisionthat has been running, there is neveraguaranteefor thewelfare ofindigenous Papuans,butofficials andcivil servantsenrichnative Papuans,as well asprovidespaceas possible fornewcomerstodominateand master thenewexpansionarea," he said.
For theactors,designersregional expansion,Goliathremindsopportunistcharacterandmalicious intentunfavorablesplitthearea,stop immediately.
If thewarningisnot heeded,theywillbetargeted byOPM.
"Remember, theTPN-OPMhasvalid dataonthe actionsand statementsof theindigenous Papuanopportunistswho alwaysmengobyekkanissue ofPapuan independencein order topave thedesiretoenrichthe familyby way ofnepotism," saidGoliath.
He alsoremindedthe Government ofIndonesiatobe wary ofactorswho asksplittingcounties,cities and provinces.
"Theyareopportunistswhoare notproductive in theinternational politicalarena.Indonesian governmentshould notspendmoneytrilliondollarseveryyear,becausethe opportunistsindigenous Papuanswas lyingand harmingthe Government of Indonesia,"he said.
